New 3-bedroom homes available for sale at Radharc Cillín, Kilfinane, for First-Time Buyers
The launch of Limerick City and County Council’s seventh initiative under the New Build Incremental Purchase Scheme has been announced, offering existing working Local Authority and AHB tenants and households on HAP and RAS the chance to purchase discounted market homes in Radharc Cillín, Kilfinane.
This scheme aims to support working families and individuals in transitioning from private rental accommodation—including those availing of HAP, RAS, or social leasing—into homeownership. In particular, the scheme offers opportunity to buy where a household has received a Notice to Quit. Eligible applicants can buy these newly constructed starter homes at a 40–60 per cent discount, based on certain income bands.
The new homes on offer include 3-bedroom energy-efficient homes with modern features and spacious designs, ready for occupation priced between €91,728.33 and €137,592.50 depending on income.

The application process opened on October 6, 2025 and closes on October 24, 2025, at 5:00 pm. Eligible candidates must submit a complete application, including a Mortgage Approval in Principle, to be considered.
Mayor of Limerick, John Moran, emphasised the importance of such schemes in addressing housing pressure and is a step to further “supporting working families and individuals in rural county Limerick to access housing”.
He said, “These new homes, located in a modern estate and finished to a high standard, will provide safe, comfortable living for their new occupants.”
PrÍomh Chomlairleoir, Cllr Catherine Slattery, added the initiative is a reflection of the local authorities “commitment to supporting sustainable communities and giving people the opportunity to have their own homes”.
Seh said, “We believe that everyone deserves the dignity of homeownership, and through this scheme, we are helping to make that dream a reality for more people across Limerick.”
Director General at Limerick City and County Council, Dr. Pat Daly, said, “This is the seventh New Build Incremental Purchase Scheme Limerick City and County Council has introduced. The Council is committed to providing working HAP and RAS households with real opportunities to own high-quality, discounted market homes. We are excited to see this project come to life in Radharc CiIín in Kilfinane, which is a great opportunity to help people put down roots in their own homes.”
