Down Syndrome Limerick is excited to announce the transformation of its office space, thanks to the generous support of Regeneron through their Day for Doing Good (D4DG) flagship volunteer programme.

The refurbishment has brightened the entire building, creating a more welcoming and accessible environment for all who access Down Syndrome Limerick’s vital services, including speech and language therapy, adult education, and much more.

“We are so grateful to Regeneron for their incredible generosity,” said Michelle Coughlan, Chairperson of Down Syndrome Limerick, “The refurbishment will make an enormous difference to our members and their families. This new environment is brighter and more practical, which will enhance the experience for everyone who comes through our doors”.

The renovation, which involved extensive painting and upgrades, will significantly enhance the experience for children and adults with Down syndrome, providing a fresh and vibrant atmosphere that better meets their needs. The improved space is expected to positively impact the learning, therapeutic, and social activities offered by the organisation.

Regeneron’s involvement underscores the company’s commitment to supporting local organisations in the Limerick and Mid-West area. Their commitment to the community goes beyond financial contributions, it’s about engaging with causes that matter.
