Network Ireland Limerick Regional Business Awards 2017 Competition is Open

Network Ireland Limerick is calling on women in business, the professions and the arts to enter the 2017 Regional Business Awards, sponsored by LEO Limerick and AIB.

There are 5 categories to choose from, including a new Arts category.  Entrants can self-nominate or be nominated by another Network Ireland member.  The awards are open to members of Network Ireland Limerick who have joined before 14th April 2017.  The Award Categories include Emerging Business, Employee, SME < 10 Employees, SME > 10 Employees, Arts.

Finalists of the Regional Business Awards 2017 will find out their fate at a special awards evening on Wednesday 10 May at No.1 Pery Square.  The branch winners of each award category will then go on to the national finals which will be announced at a Gala Ceremony in September in Druids Glen, Co Wicklow.

Edwina Gore, president of Network Ireland Limerick, said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for our members. The awards are about celebrating the excellence, professionalism, vision and leadership of our diverse group of members.  We know from feedback of past winners and finalists that the awards process itself provides a really valuable opportunity for entrants to reflect on their achievements and to showcase their business.”

Last year’s winners of the Regional Business Awards 2017 include Michelle Costello, Fusion Magazine who won the Emerging Business Award, Sandra Honan, The Pudding Brand Agency who won the Employee Award, Valerie Murphy, Valerie’s Breast Care who won the SME Award.

About the Awards:

Network Ireland Business Women of the Year Awards celebrate the excellence, professionalism, vision and leadership of its members. Regional branch winners are put forward to compete at the Network Ireland National Business Awards.  The regional Network Ireland Branch Business Women of the Year Awards take place between May and early June at separate events throughout the country.  The Network Ireland National Business Women of the Year of the Year Awards will take place at a Gala Ceremony in September in Druids Glen, Co Wicklow.

Richard is a presenter, producer, songwriter and actor. He was named the Limerick Person of the Year (2011) and won an online award at the Metro Éireann Media and Multicultural Awards (2011) for promoting multi-culturalism online. Richard says that the ilovelimerick.com concept is very much a community driven project that aims to document life in Limerick. So, that in 20 years time people can look back and remember the events that were making the headlines.
