Richmond RFC will hold a monster auction at Richmond Clubhouse, Canal Bank on Saturday December 13 at 3pm. The auction is being held to raise much needed funds for the development of the clubhouse. The auction will be held from 3pm until 5pm with viewing times open from 2.30pm.

The auction committee are looking for your help in securing items. Richmond RFC is asking the public to donate any unwanted items or gifts for their monster auction. Corporate donations are also welcome.

Items up for auction will dinner and drink vouchers, hotel breaks, clothes and beauty vouchers, and an assortment of sports memorabilia along with a wide variety of other items. Anyone and everyone is invited to come on down, and bring as many friends as they wish along. If you are looking for a bargain make sure to keep Saturday the 13 of December free in your diary.

Other events will take place on the day including craft stalls, bric-a-brac stalls and a cake sale. The cake sale will be offering delicious, homemade foods while the craft stall will have a huge amount of Christmas gifts for all including enchanting candles and fabulous Christmas decorations. If you have anything you would like to give to the bric-a-brac or cake sale you can get in contact with the auction committee and they can arrange to have the items collected from you.

Any items you wish to donate can be done so by getting in touch with the events manager Kieron Considine on 086 -1940849.

Typical goods up for auction and items the committee are looking for include household furniture, kitchenware, new electrical goods, fuel such as timber or coal, antiques, vouchers such as golf or meal vouchers, tools, garden accessories, toys, bicycles, prams, car seats, midweek breaks or cash donations. The list really is endless.
