Rising Stars Shine Again at University Concert Hall on Sunday, April 12, 2026

University Concert Hall (UCH) presents Rising Stars 2026 on Sunday, April 12, for another showcase of exceptional classical music talent

Sulamita Pyvovar will play piano at the event.

University Concert Hall (UCH) is proud to present, Rising Stars 2026, returning this April for another showcase of exceptional classical music talent.

Since its launch in 2016, this prestigious series has brought gifted young performers to new audiences in collaboration with Ireland’s top music institutions MTU Cork School of Music, TU Dublin Conservatoire, Royal Irish Academy of Music, UL MA Classical String Performance and Irish National Opera. The event will be hosted by Liz Nolan of RTÉ Lyric FM.

UCH is delighted to partner with Ei Electronics again as the official sponsor of Rising Stars 2026, whose generous support plays a vital role in nurturing the next generation of classical musicians.

This year’s Rising Stars are Laura Aherne (Soprano), Paolo Alonso (Viola), Sulamita Pyvovar (Piano), Ciara Smith (Soprano), and Kseniia Yershova (Violin).

One of the concert’s most distinctive features is that the programme is entirely curated by the performers themselves. This year’s selection spans works by Prokofiev, Bach, Mozart, and Puccini. A rich and varied afternoon not to be missed.
