The River Hair Studio, who are part of the Hugh Campbell Hair Group is excited to announce a fundraising event in association with Mid-Western Cancer Foundation. The fundraising has started already and the main fundraising event will take place on Wednesday 25th of March at the River Hair Studio on the Dock Road in Limerick City. The salon launch will raise essential funds for the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation and will see a percentage of the salons takings on the day donated directly to the Foundation. Each donation made will entitle the donor to be automatically entered into a grand prize draw to be held on the day. The event will be held during the salons working hours with the grand fundraising finale cheque presentation that evening by actor and comedian Pat Shortt.

A signed bag by Paul McGinley who won the 2004 Ryder Cup will be auctioned off to raise funds for the charity.

Manager at the River Hair Studio, Cyril Morgan, has worked closely with the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation for many years. Over the years Cyril has specialised in the styling of hair pieces for clients suffering with medical hair loss. “The Mid-Western Cancer Society holds a special part in my heart as I have seen first-hand the benefits of the services they provide in such a nurturing environment. We are delighted and honoured to be affiliated with such a commendable cause. The Hugh Campbell Hair Group and I have supported the Butterfly Ball each year and I hope to establish this in-salon fundraiser as an annual event to raise crucial funds towards the holistic care of patients in the Mid-West region”.
