The Catwalk Hair and Beauty is certainly one of the most prestige and glamorous beauty salons in Limerick and with it celebrating its 2nd birthday this year it’s only right that we reveal the many treatments you can avail of if you visit Thomas Street’s main beauty hub. Rosie Connolly takes The Catwalk

The Catwalk Hair and Beauty was first established in March 2014 by salon director Neisha Leahy Ahern. In September Neisha returned to work just 2 weeks after giving birth and worked around the clock to transform this salon into one of Limerick’s most extravagant beauty houses. Along with the return of Neisha and her powerful work ethic came many awards for the salon including the Tia Maria award which also couldn’t have been made possible without her team of beauty professionals Natalie and Aisling.

Neisha tells me that “the main aim and idea of The Catwalk Hair and Beauty space means you have an extensive availability of services meaning customers don’t have to travel all over the city to different salons to avail of these services and treatments.” Neisha herself specialises in hair extensions and is even launching her own brand of extensions before the year is up. The Catwalk Hair and Beauty offers the most elite extensions and installations by using the brands Platinum Extensions and Great Lengths. The Platinum extensions cost from €280 to €350 and the Great Lengths extensions start at €580 and both ranges come in a variety of lengths to tailor your hair desires. Great lengths last 7/8 months and contain a 100% keratin bond which essentially mimics the exact molecular structure of your own hair. These are the only extensions that don’t harm your own hair, harmless hair extensions that look amazing? Say no more!

Other services which the girls at The Catwalk Hair and Beauty offer are a whole host of nail treatments including, gel nails, pedicures, and shellac. Spray tans using the renowned brands LA Tan and Elite Tan. Along with the hair extensions another extremely popular service the girls offer is a non-peroxide cosmetic teeth whitening treatment which has proved substantial for many customers. Updo hairstyles are also an option for brides and anyone looking for a classy upstyle. Make-over appointments can also be made where the girls will pamper you with nothing but the best quality of products ranging from MAC, Charlotte Tilburry and Nars.
