The Royal Moscow Ballet is famous for traveling the globe, bringing their passion for dance with them in a variety of classical plays, all of which play at our heartstrings as we get to watch them unfold in front of us. They already have tours booked throughout the United States as well as Europe, for their rendition of Romeo and Juliet, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Cinderella and Swan Lake.

Last year in, here in UCH, the Royal Moscow Ballet completely sold out in their rendition of Sleeping Beauty. Due to their immense success, the Royal Moscow Ballet brings the world’s greatest love story to University Concert Hall, Limerick on March 6th, 2018.

Romeo and Juliet have inspired ballets greatest Choreographers and Ballerinas throughout the world. This heartbreaking tale is the perfect marriage of a dramatic musical score and a passionate, but tragic, love story. It is every ballet fans’ dream production.

The story of Romeo and Juliet is a tragic love story, constantly being performed and successful in any and every form of theatre. The play written by William Shakespeare is one of the most well-known tragedies on earth. The play has been performed on stages across the globe, on television screens, in school productions, and now in ballet.

He was named the Limerick Person of the Year (2011) and won an online award at the Metro Éireann Media and Multicultural Awards (2011) for promoting multi-culturalism online.
