rugbylad sevensThe RugbyLAD Sevens was the only Rugby Sevens Festival open to public entry to take place in Limerick, Ireland in 2014. Scheduled for the June Bank Holiday Weekend it took place at the renowned Limerick Institute of Technology over a 2-day period. Consisting of 3 leagues, they welcomed players both nationally in Ireland and internationally. The Men’s category was home to a senior and social league with the Women’s category home to the Women’s Open Championship. Like no other the RugbyLAD Sevens was home to a dedicated village area with a variety of retail units, activities and stalls with a keen focus on locality. The RugbyLAD Sevens 2014 brought you an amazing festival feel, some heart-stopping rugby and a weekend not to be forgotten.

Richard is a presenter, producer, songwriter and actor. He was named the Limerick Person of the Year (2011) and won an online award at the Metro Éireann Media and Multicultural Awards (2011) for promoting multi-culturalism online. Richard says that the ilovelimerick.com concept is very much a community driven project that aims to document life in Limerick. So, that in 20 years time people can look back and remember the events that were making the headlines.
