God Knows was born in Zimbabwe but grew up in Limerick, MuRli was born in Togo and moved to Ireland as a child and MynameisjOhn is from Shannon, Co. Clare. This intense cultural diversity allows for a truly unique sound of hip-hop mixed with indigenous music of Togo and Zimbabwe.

The trio released their second album, Let the dead bury the dead, April 8 and since then the trio have been at preforming at various events across the country, most notably a performance for the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins.

Their album delves into the world of what it means to be “Irish” and their own personal struggles of immigration and adapting to a new surrounding and culture.

Their video for the popular track, Lights On from their most recent album was released April 6 has been viewed more than 14,000 times on YouTube.

The trio is without a doubt becoming an integrated part of Limerick city with group member, God Knows being a powerful advocate for the Limerick 2020 bid presentation in Dublin and heavily involved in the 2014 City of Culture project, the Pigtown Fling. The trio also performed at the Limerick 2020 street party on Tuesday July 12.

All three members work, or have previously worked for Music Generation in Limerick, bringing contemporary music education to schools across Limerick and promoting positivity and creativity in the city. They also often partake in workshops around the city sharing their abundance of talent and inspiring others.
