Anticipation is growing as Salesian Secondary College gets ready to host its highly anticipated Charity Lunch 2026 in support of ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services.

The event will take place on Sunday, April 26th, at the Woodlands House Hotel.

This year’s occasion stands out thanks to the exceptional efforts of a group of senior students who have taken on a central role in planning and promoting the event.

Showing impressive leadership and a strong sense of community, the Leaving Certificate students have worked tirelessly in recent weeks to help ensure everything runs smoothly.

The charity lunch is set to be a vibrant and enjoyable afternoon, with students playing an active part throughout the day.

From modelling and selling raffle tickets to greeting guests, their energy and enthusiasm will be a key feature of the event. The programme includes a Prosecco reception, a four-course meal, live music, spot prizes, a raffle, and more.

Proceeds from this year’s event will go to ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services, an organisation that provides essential support, safety, and resources for those experiencing domestic abuse.

By attending, guests will be supporting a cause that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of many within the community.

The day will also include a special appearance by the Junk Couture World Designer of the Year, along with a fashion showcase featuring the Spring/Summer collection from Aisling Maher Boutique, Adare. Entertainment will be provided by Paddy O’Neill & the Fadas and Kevin McCarthy.

For further details or to purchase tickets, contact the school office on 061 393105 or the event coordinator, Therese Hogan, on 087 2205567.
