The Savoy Collection comprising The Savoy Hotel, The George Hotel and the Hamptons and Da Vincenzo’s restaurants treated some of its very good friends to a special Disco event, rolling back the decades at the Savoy Hotel.

The Savoy Collection rolled back the years with its brilliant 80s-themed Corporate Evening, bringing together many of the businesses and people the group are so fortunate to work with throughout the year and years.

Jacinta Khan, Marketing Manager at The Savoy Collection, said events such as the 80s-themed evening are “all about one thing — saying thank you”.

Jacinta added, “We truly value the relationships we’ve built with our corporate partners over the years and the continued business and support they give to The Savoy Collection. It was our pleasure to look after everyone for an evening, have some fun and show our appreciation.”

The Savoy was booming with amazing 80s-inspired outfits, a throwback to chart-topping music, entertainment from magicians, and a chance for networking and appreciation.

Jacinta noted, “And there was plenty of fun! From the fantastic 80s outfits and music to a room full of familiar faces, the atmosphere was brilliant from start to finish.”

Earlier in 2026, The Savoy Collection was acquired by Moran Hospitality, a Dublin-based hospitality group with deep family roots in Limerick and the wider region. Moran Hospitality is well-known locally as a result of Limerick man Tom Moran from Athea.

The event gave Tommy and Karen Moran the chance to meet with guests, with Jacinta saying, “It was also particularly special to have Tommy and Karen Moran in attendance. Their visit was a lovely surprise for our guests, with so many taking the opportunity to say hello and welcome The Moran family back to Limerick.

“Here’s to continuing the friendships, partnerships and working relationships for many years to come. Thank you from all of us at The Savoy Collection!”
