United Airlines Seasonal Nonstop Service Between Shannon New York Returns for 2019
Airlines has resumed nonstop flights between Shannon and its New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport, for the summer season. The service will operate daily until October 26, 2019 (westbound).
“We are delighted to operate this nonstop service between Shannon New York / Newark again this summer,” said Martina Coogan, Country Sales Manager Ireland. “This service not only offers our customers from the West of Ireland direct access to New York City, but with over 60 non-stop connections from our New York/Newark hub customers can also conveniently connect to destinations across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Central America.”

Onboard products and services
The flights between Shannon New York / Newark flights are operated by Boeing 757-200 aircraft with a total of 169 seats – 16 flat-bed seats in United Polaris business class, 45 in United Economy Plus and 108 in United Economy.

The first phase of United Polaris is now available on board and features an elevated inflight food and beverage experience, custom bedding from Saks Fifth Avenue and exclusive amenity kits with products from Sunday Riley.

Located near the front of the Economy cabin, the seats give the added benefit of allowing a swifter exit from the plane on arrival. Economy Plus seating is available on all trans-Atlantic flights. United Economy offers complimentary food, soft drinks, juices, beer and wine, tea, coffee and inflight entertainment. On most aircraft, seats feature an adjustable headrest and a personal on-demand entertainment system.
