Sinead O’Brien announced as Entrepreneur of the Year at 2026 Gossies

Limerick entrepreneur, Sinead O’Brien, has been revealed as the 2026 Entrepreneur of the Year at the Gossies awards

Limerick’s Sinead O’Brien, founder of Vacious, the inclusive shapewear and swimwear brand, was recognised among the winners at The Gossies 2026, named Entrepreneur of the Year award for her brand Vacious at a ceremony attended by celebrities from the UK and Ireland in on February 28 at the RDS Concert Hall.
Now in its 11th year, the Gossies celebrate Ireland’s leading names across TV, radio, music, fashion and social media, hosted for the second year in a row by social media star and Ireland AM presenter Eric Roberts, the ceremony saw some of Ireland’s brightest stars awarded across 19 categories.
Reacting to the award, Sinead O’Brien said, “I honestly cannot believe this… I just won Best Entrepreneur 2026 The Gossies. To be nominated alongside so many incredible entrepreneurs was an honour — but to actually win is just surreal. Thank you so much to everyone who voted and supported me. I truly couldn’t have done this without you.”
The night also had a strong charitable focus, with sponsors, OOOSCH, helping to raise €10,000 for Women’s Aid through an interactive fundraiser.
Also taking home an award on the night was Limerick social media influencer, Chloe Koyce, who was announced as Celebrity Make-up Artist of the Year, presented with the award by Lynn Kelly.
Sinead’s success follows an incredible 2025, which also saw her recognised by Goss.ie for her work with the Vacious brand, being named 2025 GOSS Women of the Year Best Start Up Award winner. In 2025, Vacious expanded its collections with new shades and styles, strengthening its reputation both in Ireland and internationally.
At the 2026 Gossies, famous faces from TV, radio, music, and social media graced the pink carpet – including Love Island couple Conor Phillips and Megan Forte Clarke, Katie Price, UK TV personalities Demi and Frankie Sims, Dancing with the Stars judges Oti Mabuse and Arthur Gourounlian, popular presenters Muireann O’Connell, Dáithí Ó Sé, Kathryn Thomas, Alan Hughes, Brian Dowling and Katja Mia, plus Jack Keating – fresh from the Love Island All Stars villa.
