Winner of “Spread Your Wings” for Parkinson’s Disease Ireland

Spread Your Wings

Earlier this year Deane James became the winner of the song writing competition “Spread Your Wings” in aid of Parkinson’s Disease Ireland, for his epic love ballad “Goodbye Miss Jane”. A talented panel of judges include singer songwriter John Spillane, acclaimed writer and former Eurovision Song winner, Shay Healy and singer and journalist Leanne Moore chose Deane’s song to receive the incredible prize.

As part of the winning prize, I Love Limerick was proud to produce a music video for Deane’s original song, as well as a full photo promo shoot with renowned Limerick photographer Maurice Gunning, a style makeover, and the opportunity to have his song recorded and produced by Dave Keary of Red Door Productions in Limerick City.
