The Annual St Gabriels Charity Golf Classic

The Annual St Gabriels Charity Golf Classic will take place this year on the 5 and 6 May in the Limerick Golf Course. St Gabriels hope that this years event will be an even bigger success than in previous years. Funds raised will go towards the development of a new Children’s Respite House to be located in Mungret.

St. Gabriel’s School & Centre is a not for profit children’s disability organisation and a registered charity located in Dooradoyle on the south side of Limerick City. St. Gabriel’s School and Centre is dedicated to providing education and a range of essential health-related therapies and clinical intervention programmes to more than 500 children and young adults living with physical disabilities, developmental delay or more serious life-limiting conditions. Up to 58 children with special needs attend St. Gabriel’s school each day, while St. Gabriel’s Centre delivers a range of interventions and support services for up to 400 of these children and their families on an outpatient basis.

They work not only with children and their disabilities but also their families and their lives aswell.

They are is always looking for individuals to help organise our events to raise funds and awareness, volunteers to run existing events or individuals to develop new and creative fundraising ideas.

St. Gabriel’s organises a number of fundraising events and activities throughout the year that you can get involved with for example helping fundraise for the school at the annual Charity Golf Classic May 5 and 6.

Why not putt your golfing efforts towards a good cause this year and enter a team in their annual Golf Classic? Your support will have a lasting benefit to children with multiple disabilities and their families.
