St Gabriels Great Limerick Run Needs Your Support
The Great Limerick Run takes place on May 1 2016 where runners and walkers can take part in a 6 mile, half marathon or marathon event on our behalf to raise funds and awareness for children with multiple physical disabilities. St Gabriels Great Limerick Run needs your support
St. Gabriel’s School & Centre is a not for profit children’s disability organisation and a registered charity located in Dooradoyle on the south side of Limerick City. St. Gabriel’s School & Centre is dedicated to providing education and a range of essential health-related therapies and clinical intervention programmes to more than 500 children and young adults living with physical disabilities, developmental delay or more serious life-limiting conditions. Up to 58 children with special needs attend St. Gabriel’s school each day, while St. Gabriel’s Centre delivers a range of interventions and support services for up to 400 of these children and their families on an outpatient basis.
They work not only with children and their disabilities but also their families and their lives aswell.
St. Gabriel’s is always looking for individuals to help organise our events to raise funds and awareness, volunteers to run existing events or individuals to develope new and creative fundraising ideas.
St. Gabriel’s organises a number of fundraising events and activities throughout the year that you can get involved with for example helping fundraise for the school at the upcoming Great Limerick Run in May.
You can join Team St. Gabriel’s in participating the run and support our worthwhile cause to raise funds and awareness to build a new Children’s Respite House for children with multiple disabilities.
If you would like to join Team St. Gabriel’s and get active by getting involved with either of these events pleases contact Kate by email [email protected].
