Upcoming St Gabriels School Fundraising Events

There are a number of upcoming St Gabriels School fundraising events that are going to happen over the next couple of weeks. St Gabriels have had a number of fundraisers during this Summer and each event had brilliant success. Events like the Pig’n’Porter Rugby Festival, Summer Swim Camps, GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) volunteered at St Gabriels School and a coffee day at Dolores’s House were all contributing towards St Gabriels over June and July.

Abbeyfeale Charity Cycle

Abbeyfeale Cycling Club will hold a charity cycle on Sunday, August 14 in aid of St. Gabriel’s. Each cyclist will make the choice of doing either a 60km or 110km route on the day.

Any cyclists can register for the event at Fr. Casey’s club house in Abbeyfeale from 8am that morning. The participants will then leave Abbeyfeale at 10 O’clock sharp, taking them through West Limerick’s scenic routes.

St Gabriels would like to thank the cycle club nominating them as the charity associated with the event. Funds raised will go towards the building of a new Children’s Respite House for children with disabilities and complex medical conditions.

Greyhound Benefit Night

Another upcoming St Gabriels School Fundraising Events is the St Gabriel’s Greyhound Benefit Night would be a perfect reason to bring along your friends and family to the Limerick Greyhound Track on Saturday, September 24 at 7:30pm.

This year, St Gabriel’s will be celebrating their 7 year anniversary and are looking for race/event sponsors. They’re also looking for people who want to take an advertisement in the race programme.

Enjoy a great atmosphere, the thrill of racing, finger food and music, all in aid of the building of a Children’s Respite House in Mungret.

Free entry to anyone under 16. Purchase your entry tickets now. You need to call St. Gabriel’s for tickets, the number will be provided at the bottom with all other essential links.

Only income generated from pre-sold tickets will go directly to St. Gabriel’s. Tickets bought at the door on the night will not benefit St. Gabriel’s.

The Tut Tut Charity Putt

Another to add to St Gabriels school fundraising events is Paul Flannery’s Bar (on Shannon Street) Golf Society take on Phil Flannerys (Denmark Street) in the Tut Tut Charity Cup, at the East Clare Golf Club, Sunday September 11. They have kindly chosen to donate the proceeds of the event to St. Gabriel’s.
