The Hunt Museum announces the return of the Friends of the Hunt Museum Annual Luncheon Fundraiser, taking place on Saturday, 6 June at the Dunraven Arms Hotel, Adare.
A highlight of the Museum’s social calendar, this year’s luncheon will feature a special guest appearance by Steven Moore, a recognised expert from the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow and Antiques Road Trip.
Moore will share insights from his career in the world of antiques and collecting, and will also discuss his newly published book, The Stuff of History, offering audiences a deeper understanding of his work and passion for historical objects.
As part of the event, Lorcan Murray RTÉ Lyric FM Broadcaster will host an in-conversation discussion with Moore, exploring his career, experiences on Antiques Roadshow, and the stories behind The Stuff of History, in what promises to be an engaging and insightful exchange.
Guests will be welcomed with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course luncheon at the Dunraven Arms. The event offers a unique opportunity to engage with one of the UK’s most recognisable antiques specialists in an intimate and social setting.
Speaking ahead of the event, Teresa Crowley, Director of the Hunt Museum, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Mr. Steven Moore to Limerick for this special occasion. The Annual Luncheon brings together supporters and new audiences alike, offering a unique cultural experience while supporting the important work of the Hunt Museum.”
Organised by the Friends of the Hunt Museum, the Annual Luncheon is a key fundraising event, with proceeds supporting the Museum’s exhibitions, education programmes and the care of its internationally significant collection.
The event will begin at 12.30pm, and tickets are limited. For more information or to book tickets, visit the Hunt Museum website.
