Swinging into summer with the Irish Aerial Creation Centre

The Creative team of world renowned Aerial Dance Company Fidget Feet Chantal and James Daly have decided to make Limerick the home of the new Irish Aerial Creation Centre.

Swinging into summer with the Irish Aerial Creation CentreThe first action of the aerial company will be to offer summer camps from July 20th to August 7th. The camps will cater from ages 2-17 and will enthral children and young adults with the opportunity to train in the aerial art forms of Hoop, Cocoon, Wall running and Fabric.

Children are in for a real experience with the highly skilled instructors from Fidget feet acting as trainers on the camp. Stevie Boyd an internationally renowned aerial artist will be on residency from Italy at the IACC and will be one of the main instructors at the camps.

The summer activity will swing into gear on June 27th with a family day for all to come; see the centre, talk to the instructors and for all ages to have a little taste of aerial for themselves if they so wish.  People are welcome from 11am -12.30am. Then family activities will be available in two sessions: from 1-3pm for 2-7 year olds accompanied by an adult and from 4-6pm for 7+ with an adult partaking in a separate activity at the same time.  These family days will provide adults and children will a really fun activity they can do together, something they can share and have fun with.Swinging into summer with the Irish Aerial Creation Centre

‘Fidget Feet are really glad to have made Limerick their home. We think that after 2014 and with the bid for 2020, culture and Limerick have never been so synonymous’ said Chantal.

The IACC will be opening fully from September with a full range of classes to suit all ages and ranges, facilitating to groups, team building sessions, sportspeople, all of Limericks community and aerial enthusiasts nationally and internationally.
