SYNK Limerick comes to Pharmacia

“SYNK Limerick” is a brand-new music event established in association with Music Technology & Sound Production students of Limerick College of Further Education. The event aims to highlight local DJ’s, House, Hip-Hop and Rap artists in Limerick to showcase the talent Limerick artists really have to offer with artists like Tremor, Chris Power, & Jono Carey to name a few. The event will take place in Pharmacia on Tuesday, January 30 and hopes to bring people together to celebrate and enjoy their shared interest in music.

Ronan Dunne, a Music Technology student, spoke about the event, as well as the recent passing of Limerick music legend Dolores O Riordan; “It’s good to bring people together for a night of music in Pharmacia with the common interest that is music. Whatever your taste or style of music is, it is the one chord that connects everyone together. The passing of local legend and music icon, Dolores O’Riordan from The Cranberries has deeply shocked us as music students, we look up to artists like Dolores and could only dream of what she had achieved in her lifetime.”
