Team Hannah to support Critical Emergency Response with Croagh Patrick fundraising climb
Pictured are participants for the last Team Hannah fundraiser for Brú Colombanus. Brú Columbanus provides emergency accommodation for the families of seriously ill patients in Cork hospitals. They were a lifeline for Hannah’s parents last year as she spent 12 days in the ICU at Cork University Hospital. Last September, the team raised approximately €30,000 by completing a 10k walk on the Limerick Greenway.
Team Hannah is set to fundraise for Critical Emergency Response on Saturday, August 23, when the group climb Croagh Patrick

Team Hannah are the family and friends of Hannah Frawley. Hannah very sadly passed away in August 2024 following a road traffic accident. Hannah’s family & friends have come together to start a fundraising group in her memory.
Hannah’s kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her. In the face of their loss, her loved ones are turning their grief into a force for good and are committed to raising funds for the causes that meant so much to Hannah and her family.
They have chosen to fundraise for Critical Emergency Response as they help people in similar situations to Hannah.
CRITICAL was established in 2009 as Irish Community Rapid Response and in 2019 it successfully launched Ireland’s first and only charity Air Ambulance. Over a 36-month period, it was tasked to more than 1,500 serious incidents and emergencies, including Cardiac Arrests, Road Traffic Accidents, Farm Accidents and other serious medical emergencies and traumas. Their team of Emergency Medical Responders have responded to over 1,800 calls in the past three years, an average of 600 responses annually.
In 2023, they began to trade as CRITICAL, and are now focused on expanding their network of Volunteer Emergency Medical Responders and CRITICAL Community First Responders across Ireland
On Saturday, August 23, Team Hannah are climbing Croagh Patrick to raise funds for the invaluable work that Critical do. Anyone who is interested in climbing with the group can register online now, donations can also be made through the registration website.
Speaking about the climb, Hannah’s parents, Liz & Ger Frawley, said, “We are climbing Croagh Patrick in memory of our daughter Hannah and have chosen to fundraise for Critical Emergency Medical Response as they help people in similar situations to Hannah. We appreciate every message of support and every donation we have received on behalf of Critical”
Every donation and act of support is a heartfelt tribute to Hannah’s legacy, a way to celebrate her life and carry forward the love and kindness she so generously shared. This fundraising group keeps her memory alive, spreading hope and creating a lasting impact in the lives of others.
