A hidden gem, the cafe is located in Adare, Co Limerick, one of Ireland’s prettiest villages. It was founded 12 years ago by Claire Staunton and aims to combine the elements of a cafe, a bistro and an in-house bakery. It’s definitely worth a stopover if you’re planning to visit the village to check out the beautiful thatched cottages, and monuments that have a rich history and strong heritage.

The café houses indoor seating for 50 people, bakery stands, to-go fridges and also has a beautiful outdoor terrace with heaters and blankets. It offers a seasonal menu with high quality produce from Irish suppliers which guarantee a variety of fresh and healthy options, including vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives for those clients who follow specific diets.

The Good Room, a previous Winner of the Cafe of The Year Munster, always has Baristas on hand to make you a fresh coffee with plenty of sweet treats and cakes on offer. Whether you fancy a salad or some freshly baked goods in house daily, from the bakery, they have it all.

Due to the public health measures the cafe is currently open only for takeaway. As of last month, you can now pop in and enjoy takeaway coffees, homemade breakfasts and lunches 7 days a week, and, as always, everything is made with love, bursting with flavour and showcases the best quality local produce. The menu is updated regularly and you can find it on their social media, Facebook or Instagram accounts, and also on their website.

Their newly appointed General Manager, Kasia, is always available to ensure that you have the best experience possible when visiting.

The Good Room Adare opening hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Friday & Saturday: 8:30am – 4pm

Sundays & Bank Holidays: 9.30am – 4pm
