Limerick Going for Gold has just launched its Best Front Garden Category in the Peoples Park.  This particular category is open to all across the City and County of Limerick and is sponsored by the Parkway Shopping Centre.  The Parkway Shopping Centre has organised, judged and sponsored the Best Front Garden Category of Going for Gold since the competition began in 2012.   The closing date is Friday 29 July 2017.

Speaking at the launch of the Best Front Garden Category, Deputy Mayor of Limerick City and County, Cllr Gerald Mitchell, said “This Olympic year marks the fourth year of the Limerick Going for Gold Campaign in Limerick City and the second year for Limerick County.  I am delighted with the growth of the grant and competition element of the campaign which is continuing to attract a huge number of entries and I would like to thank all our volunteer groups for their ongoing efforts to improve their local areas.”

Mr Gerry Boland from the JP McManus Charitable Foundation complimented the groups on their fantastic work in their communities, the Council for organising the event and the Parkway Shopping Centre for its contribution to Limerick Going for Gold.
