The Limerick Strand Al Fresco BBQ season returns for the summer and is  ‘smoking hot’.

The BBQ season at The Strand 2016 has added the low and slow Hog roaster and rotisserie.

Groups up to 120 can feast upon a whole Irish pig on a spit for €1,000 or up to 60 guests for whole rotisserie chicken from €675 or whole Irish lamb on a spit for €1,000 for up to 60 guests and severed with a deluxe summer salad offering, sauce and condiments with a choice of floury bap, or wrap- guaranteed to keep the carnivores happy.

With a choice of 4 stunning riverside venues catering from 25-450 guests, BBQs are the perfect setting for a corporate, private or ‘what the hell’ celebration!   From the privacy of the 6th floor Rooftop City View Room, with wraparound outdoor terrace and 360 degree views of the city, or enjoy the comfort of the Terrace Bar or elegance of the Shannon Suite with access to the fabulous Secret Garden, a private space which brings the outdoors indoors in a fully heated chic, urban, covered entertainment space adding a magical setting for drinks, after party and photos for your guests, the Limerick Strand is the perfect choice for summer get together.

BBQ packages are available from €20 per person with selections such as Homemade Irish beef burgers in a toasted bun, grilled Irish jumbo sausages, marinated chicken drumsticks, plus salad selection and condiments. There’s also a fabulous ‘add on’ menu including the now famous ‘Sweet and sour spare ribs’, Prawn Kebab, Wasabi crusted salmon fillet, pulled pork BBQ sauce, crusty bread, Minute steak, Chicken Satay Skewers, Baked Potatoes with fresh herbs, sour cream and chives plus other options from €2.

There’s a selection of sweet treats and additional salad items on the menu from €2, mini fruit Pavlova, fresh fruit kebabs and salads Moroccan style cous cous, ruby slaw, zesty quinoa salad and broccoli and feta salad with toasted almonds.

For those looking to add music or entertainment such as giant games to their BBQ evening, the Limerick Strand Al Fresco team would be more than happy to assist.

Summer cocktails are also popular at the Limerick Strand so there’s surely something on the menu to tickle the taste buds. If you’re looking for something special, the mixologist is happy to create something special for your group such as a Prosecco Bar.
