This Friday 25th of September from 10:00am to 4.00 pm, the Milk Market is holding its very first The Markets Got Style Event, in aid of Live 95 fm Kids On Tour Annual Charity event to raise funds for two local charities CARI Ireland and The Children’s Ark, the proceeds from a number of trader will go to the two charities for Limerick kids.

This style event offers the public and fashion/style lovers alike the chance to and sample what the Milk Market has to offer all day Friday 25th. As a special treat for all those foodies out there Keith Piggott from the Hook and Ladder will be dazzling audience members with  a cooking demonstrations and taster sessions at the Friday Lunch Food Court 12:30 to 3:30pm.

There’s an impressive line-up of stylist, featuring looks like vintage, creative, retro, classic and contemporary on the from the market fashion retailers from Walk in Closet, The Edge and the Craft Hub as well as all the markets unique and wonderful array of vintage, bespoke and fashion traders.

Style and Beauty Clinics and Workshop’s will be taking place on the day, Vanilla Browns Spa will lead the way with creating vintage and retro Hair and Make up so if you fancy yourself as a 50’s Diva. then drop by and be transformed, The Fashion students from LSAD lead by Grainne Glynn, will lead a series of Styled events when a stylist dresses two models from each of the shop’s featured.

The day will also host a Fashion and Beauty Blogger Clinic where How to Become a Blogger and Blogging for Business will be organised and lead by the lovely beauty blogger Aishling Wallis and a host of other young Fashonistas, so if you think you have what it takes to make it as a blogger drop by where they will be blogging live on the varies clinics.

The Markets got Style will be lead by our own Cathy Sinclair Stephens Stylist and all round fabulous lady, this will feature how to accessories any outfit and change a look from what you have in your closet. There will an array of Vintage fashion on the day the wonderful Lesley Anne Liddane from Absolutely Fab Les- Vintage will be on hand to give her expert advice and tips on Friday.

Roisin Lennon who works in Film and Theatre will be giving two clinics one on How to Wear Vintage Every Day, and another on costumes for Film and Theatre, Bespoke fashion and Up-Cycling clothes. When Roisin is not off in far flung destinations working on Movies she has a beautiful vintage stall in the market

Furniture Re –Styling Clinic will feature amazing antique finds supplied by our own Cos Egan Antiques and Collectables, the Clinic will we lead by Sharon Fitzgerald from the wonder Vintage Revitalised Furniture company and Sharon will only be using the very beautiful range of Antique Milk Paints from the Crafty Bird range which is 100% natural

To keep you looking beautiful from the inside out we will be holding some Juicing and Nutrition workshops lead by our own Maggie Hanley and the lovely Wellnice Pop’s Team.

The famous Pete Beaumont Weaver will be demonstrating his work all day as well

There will be approx. 40 stalls on the day selling all you could want to buy for yourself, your home and to eat and enjoy. As it’s a Friday we will have music to enjoy.

We have an array of prises on the day to be won, for most stylish and best retro look etc.

Not only will it be a wonderful; day of Fashion, Beauty, and Style its all for two wonderful local children’s charities.
