Contestant on this year’s Voice of Ireland, Niall O Halloran recently worked with internationally acclaimed composer Scott Alan in London and as a result, Niall is now moving to London to work.

Niall says ‘I can’t believe that I’m doing it and I’m terrified but so excited to see what is waiting for me. I 100% would not have had the confidence to do what I’m doing without all the support every single one of you has given me, any person that has helped me out, liked my comments and shared my experiences, I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart.’

Niall is putting on a concert, ‘The Next Stage’ in the University Concert Hall on the 3rd of July, which is a send-off for Niall as he embarks on his new journey and life in London, as well as helping him set up in London. Niall and his special guests will come together to perform a selection from musicals including Miss SaigonLes Mis and Jekyll & Hyde

‘The financial horror that is the London cost of living is one of the reasons I’m putting on this concert. I, unfortunately, am not in a position to be able to move over to London at the moment.’

Niall is delighted to say that many of his musical friends are offering their services for the evening.  The guests on the night include Voice of Ireland 2015 contestants Sarah McTernan, John Sheely and Fionn Gardner.  Also performing will be Donal Brennan, soprano Kelli-Ann Masterson, mezzo-soprano Martha O’Brien, Aoife Doolan and Limerick’s Liam O’Brien, Judy O Connor and Jessica McEvoy.

Niall says ‘I would be over the moon if you all could attend the evening; I’m so close to achieving a dream that I have had since I was a young boy, belting out Judy Garland songs to my parents dismay’
