Produced and Written by Karen Fitzgibbon and St. Saviours Community Drama Group; a group of teachers attend a reunion one year after retirement to celebrate a life in education, reflect on their careers and newfound lease of life.

But when a journalist is sent to interview the retirees, questions are asked about a missing teacher and suddenly the reunion is a dangerous place to be. They all know what happened to the girl, but who is willing to tell?

Director Karen Fitzgibbon said, “We lost a valued cast member and friend last year, our lovely and talented actress Margaret Tydings and we want to dedicate our performance to her memory. This brand new dramedy explores the complexity of a school environment, the relationships between the staff, and their loyalty to keep a secret that one of them never wants to reveal.

“The idea originated from cast member, Tadgh Collopy and was written by the group and Limerick crime writer Karen Fitzgibbon. This is a bold and brave move for St. Saviours once again! The challenge never seems to faze this group and this year is no exception!”

St. Saviours Community Drama Group formed in 2011 in the CIE club as a pilot community drama group with six members and no expectations.  Fifteen years later they have emerged as one of Limericks most prolific Community Drama Groups, with 14 previous sell-out shows under their belt, three short films, a STAR Award nomination and the upcoming world premiere of their new play ‘The Reunion’.

The group are thrilled to get back on the Belltable stage this tear. Tickets are selling fast at Belltable box office on 061/774774.  At €10.00, this show is a bargain! St. Saviours Community Drama Group are supported by the Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board, Limerick Community Education Network and The Limerick City and County Arts Office.
