Three Limerick finalists announced for Miss Universe Ireland 2026

The Miss Universe Ireland 2026 Limerick contestants are Natalia Rybakowska, Leah Marie Sheehan and Aideen Howard

Three Limerick ladies have been announced as finalists for Miss Universe Ireland 2026. The three finalists from Limerick are Natalia Rybakowska, Leah Marie Sheehan and Aideen Howard.   

The official Summer Launch Party for Miss Universe Ireland 2026 took place at the iconic Bewley’s Café Theatre on Grafton Street, Dublin 2, welcoming finalists, sponsors, media and special guests for an evening of elegance, celebration and golden summer glamour.  

Natalia Rybakowska (19) from Adare is a Criminal Law student at the University of Limerick and also works at Stats Perform as a rugby data analyst. Natalia commented, “My motivation comes from my ambition, I’m driven to improve constantly, learn from every experience, and push beyond my comfort zone. I see challenges as opportunities to develop discipline and use failure as motivation rather than setback.”

Leah Marie Sheehan (23) froom Annacotty in Limerick is a recent graduate with a degree in Biochemistry. Lisa said, “I believe that my journey reflects a balance of ambition, compassion, and creativity. Whether through science, caregiving, working with children, or pursuing my passion for acting, I strive to bring dedication and authenticity to everything I do.” 

Aideen Howard (22) from Castletroy in Limerick is studying Marketing and French. Aideen added, “For me, Miss Universe Ireland is about far more than appearance or a title. It is an opportunity to represent resilience, kindness, and personal growth while positively using my voice. I would be incredibly proud to represent Ireland while staying true to the values that matter most to me.”

The final of Miss Universe Ireland takes place Saturday, June 20th, 2026 in The Bonnington Hotel in Dublin and the winner will be crowned by current Miss Universe Ireland Aadya Srivastava (19) from Galway.  Miss Universe Ireland will follow in the footsteps of previous winners Roz Purcell, Joana Copper, Dancing with the Stars alum Aishah Akorede, Sofia Labus and Aasya Srivastava.  

Miss Universe Ireland has become an increasingly influential platform for ambitious young women in Ireland, opening doors in modelling, media, business, advocacy and international representation. The winner of Miss Universe Ireland 2026 will receive an exclusive prize package along with the honour of representing Ireland on the world stage at the prestigious Miss Universe global final, where delegates from more than 100 countries will compete for the coveted title and reigning Miss Universe, Fátima Bosch Fernández of Mexico, will crown her successor.
 
The Miss Universe Organisation (MUO) is a global, inclusive organisation that celebrates all cultures, backgrounds and religions. The Organisation is entering an important chapter in its history as it prepares to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Miss Universe competition, a milestone that reflects decades of global influence, cultural relevance, and an enduring commitment to empowerment.
