Treaty United announce latest signings ahead of 2026 season
Treaty United have announced the signings of Kevin Fitzpatrick to the men’s team and that Limerick native Laura O’Neill re-signs for the senior women’s team

Goalkeeper Kevin Fitzpatrick has been announced as the latest signing for Treaty United FC men’s team, as well as the re-signing of Limerick’s Laura O’Neill to the women’s team.
O’Neill joins back for her third season at the Markets Field, coming off the back of a season where she made 12 appearances and bagged an assist, she began her journey with Caherdavin Celtic before moving onto Coonagh United and Murroe AFC Ladies.
Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, O’Neill said she is excited for the season ahead with a team showing “so much potential.
She said, “I’m delighted to be re-signing with Treaty United Women for another season. It is a team that has so much potential and that I really enjoy being part of. As a local, I’m really proud to represent this club and I’m looking forward to the season ahead!”
22-year-old Kevin Fitzpatrick started his career with Mallow United before plying his trade with his university side, UCC and now hopes to make a mark for Treaty United men’s senior team, where he will compete for a position with 28-year-old Jack Brady.
Jack Brady returns to Treaty United, having previously appeared in the 2022/2023 season, Treaty announced the return of Brady from Drogheda United in December 2025.
Fitzpatrick also brings international experience to the squad, representing the Irish Colleges and Universities side alongside current Treaty United teammates Richkov Boevi, Colin Conroy and Steven Healy. The Cork man kept a clean sheet last year against Scotland.
Manager Tommy Barrett also commented on the signing, “He’s a new goalkeeper from UCC who brings a big presence. Kevin has a lot of potential and will compete with Jack.”
