A direct and exciting attacking player, Eva adds further pace, creativity and quality to the Treaty forward line as the club continues to invest in developing the best local talent.

Women’s First Team Head Coach Laurie Ryan welcomed Eva to the club, saying, “We are delighted to sign Eva to the club, a local talent that has represented her county at underage level. Eva is a brilliant attacking option for us and we are looking forward to working with her. It’s important for us that local players see the pathway to senior football in Limerick.”

On the return of Aibhlinn, Ryan said, “It’s brilliant to get Aibhlinn back to the club, and she has proved that she can play at the top level. She is a huge contributor to the team.”

Striker Colm Whelan joins the club after a successful spell with Maree-Oranmore FC, where he was in top goalscoring form and played a key role in the Galway side’s recent success. A proven finisher, Whelan helped Maree-Oranmore FC in their recent successful Connacht Junior Cup campaign and was instrumental in the club’s Michael Byrne Cup triumph, scoring four times in a remarkable 6-5 extra-time victory in the final.

Before joining Maree-Oranmore FC, Whelan represented Galway United academy, gaining valuable experience in the League of Ireland and continuing to build his reputation as a clinical centre-forward with intelligent movement and a tireless work rate. His experience at senior level, combined with his recent goalscoring exploits, makes him an exciting addition to the Treaty United attack.
