Troy Studios offers a new era for live music in the Midwest

After a sellout show at Troy Studios with electronic pioneers FAITHLESS recently, the potential for this brand new 3,000 capacity concert and event space for the region is being hailed, as local promoters CWB and Troy Film Studios celebrate the success of the opening event.
Taking place in one of the four sound stages of the 350,000 square foot studio space in Castletroy, the inaugural event saw a sellout crowd experience one of the biggest acts in the world warm up for their European Tour with an epic show and a level of sound and lighting production not seen before outside of Dublin.
The epic space of studio D which is over 13 metres high became a cathedral of sound and light on the night and a new era for live music in the region began and ushers in the new Troy Studios concert and event space as the one to watch!

Paul Boland of CWB said of the Troy Studios concert and event space, “ We are delighted with how this show with FAITHLESS went, and to have access to the Troy space for live shows, we are looking forward to bringing acts to the Midwest that haven’t had the right venue to perform in up to now”

Using local suppliers and staff, the event proved a boom to the city on the night before the Munster Final with many pubs hosting pre and post events, a fact lauded by Limerick City and County Council Night Time Economy Adviser, Craig Power who said, “The first live show at Troy Studios was a great success and we would be really supportive of a year round concert venue of this scale, well done to all at CWB and Troy Studios for having the vision and expertise to get this moving.”
With more than 350,000 square feet under one roof, Troy Studios is Ireland’s largest and newest production facility. Established in 2017, the facility is situated in the culturally-rich city of Limerick, within an hour’s drive to lush settings—the Atlantic coastline, mountains, forests, waterfalls, lakes and picturesque villages—while the city itself provides easy access to Georgian streets, medieval castles, modern architecture, sports stadiums and riverfront views over the longest river in Ireland.
Troy Studios offers four sound stages, totaling over 103,000 square feet, more than 250,000 square feet of support space and a five-acre backlot. Recent productions filmed at Troy Studios include Apple TV’s Foundation and The Wayfinders, a 2025 fantasy adventure television series.
