The recently published 2023 Higher Education Authority Graduate Outcomes Survey has shown that 81 per cent of TUS honours degree graduates are employed, significantly higher than the national average of 76.5 per cent.

The “outstanding employability rate” figure has earned TUS the top spot for Level 8 graduates from any higher education institution in Ireland.

Professor Vincent Cunnane, President of TUS said, “This outstanding employability rate is a testament to our students and the quality of education they receive at TUS. We develop our programmes with employers as part of our commitment to ensuring our graduates are as well-prepared as possible to meet the evolving demands of the modern workforce. In doing so, we’re creating a virtuous cycle that develops the regional and national economies.”

Dean of Flexible and Work-Based Learning and Director of Industry Engagement, Seamus Hoyne said, “Working with industry partners has been invaluable in shaping Our Careers and Employability Service. Our TUS-wide Careers and Employability service works with our industry partners, our students and academic departments coordinating over 2,500 work placements per year, while ensuring industry can connect with our highly sought after graduates.”
