Festive Favourites at University Concert Hall is the perfect start to the Christmas season for young and old alike. Previously Carols For All, this show has become a delightful tradition for families from throughout the region, allowing them to remember what the festive season is really all about – family, friends, carols, Santa and a wonderful atmosphere of genuine goodwill.

This year University Concert Hall is delighted to announce a stellar group of guests performing a selection of traditional, Christmas favourites. Ireland’s leading vocal harmony and barbershop quartet group, 4 In A Bar, will take to the UCH stage for the first time and audiences can expect to enjoy their quirky take on everything from Jingle Bells to O, Holy Night. Parteen National School Choir will delight the kids with a variety of songs including a favourite from Frozen!. The fun will continue as one of the UCH Panto stars, Myles Breen, brings a flavour of what to expect from Jack & The Beanstalk.

MC for the day, Liam O’Brien, will also do some wonderful Christmas crooning and all ages can expect a treat when Jean McGlynn takes to the stage having wowed audiences inLimerick’s Dream Will Do last October.

Of course, no Christmas themed afternoon would be complete without the man in red and once again, children can look forward to being invited on stage for a magical moment with Santa.
