Join the Stars for “Sleeping Beauty” at UCH Open Auditions For Children

Keith Duffy, Richie Hayes and Hilda Fay in the University Concert Hall, Limerick Panto SLEEPING BEAUTY which runs at the venue from Dec 16 to Jan 3.

Does your child love to dance? Would you like them to share the stage with iconic Irish performer Keith Duffy and household showbiz names George McMahon (Fair City), Hilda Fay (Fair City), Leanne Moore and Richie Hayes as well as Limerick stars Myles Breen and Richard Lynch? Join the stars of Sleeping Beauty for UCH open auditions for children.

University Concert Hall and Pantomime Producer Robert C Kelly are once again looking for three teams of children to take part in “Sleeping Beauty”, a wonderful opportunity for any budding performers to work with an outstanding cast of both local and national celebrities in a fully professional production.

Open call dance auditions will take place at UCH on Thursday 22nd October at 6.30pm, and will be conducted by one of Ireland’s top Choreographers, Belinda Murphy.

Children aged from 7 to 11 years old are invited to attend. Some dance experience is desirable but children do not need to be members of a dance or stage school. A height restriction of 4ft 10in applies.

Sleeping Beauty at University Concert opens for school groups on Tuesday 16th December and runs until Sunday 3rd January with 2 shows per day (no shows on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day). There will be three teams of children, with each team taking part in one in every three shows.
