Ireland’s First Pro Muay Thai Show of 2020 ‘Unforgiven IV’ Takes Place in Limerick January 25th

Fresh off the momentum of their show last August, Eiremuaysiam, the pride of Limerick’s Muay Thai boxing scene, is hosting their fourth pro show, Unforgiven IV.

This event will be held in the Limerick Strand Hotel on January 25, 2020. Boasting an ISKA Irish Lightweight title shot as the main event, Unforgiven IV is centre stage to some of the most talented Muay Thai fighters in all of Ireland.
Entering its 11th year in business, Eiremuaysiam (EMS) was established by Rob NG, who introduced Limerick to Muay Thai, which is also known as the “Art of Eight Limbs.”
Although the holiday season has just passed, the gym has stayed active in the last few months, with fighters participating in shows around the country, as well as abroad in Thailand.

With the show coming exactly one month after Christmas, the work ethic of the gym shines.
In relation to Eiremuaysiam’s work rate during the holiday season, Rob NG said, “Most people would think this is a good time to take a holiday, but this just shows the mindset our fighters have.”
Unforgiven III, which was also hosted in the Strand Hotel, held a four-man eliminator with a prize of a one-month training camp at the world-famous Sor Ruen Rom Muay Thai Gym in Rayong, Thailand.
EMS’s own fighter Faisal Azimi won this once in a lifetime opportunity, and although he has not yet had the chance to step foot in the country formerly known as Siam, he has not let that slow him down.
On Unforgiven IV, Azimi is the fight of the night, taking his chance at an ISKA championship much like his teammate before him, Jamie Morrissey.
Faisal Azimi said, “Always trust in yourself and do something good for yourself and your future.”
A statement which speaks to his relentless lifestyle, Azimi balances college, work, and training, sometimes even twice a day.
A night of exciting fights and good energy is undeniable, with some fighters making their ring debut and others stepping into the next level for the first time.
The fighters in EMS consider each other family, and it is this connection that drives them to train so consistently and what promises that Unforgiven IV will be a show like no other. They all agree there’s “nothing like a home crowd,” so don’t miss out on a chance to watch the first month of 2020 go out with a bang.
