Get ready to laugh out loud this autumn as the Punchline Comedy Club series returns to the University Concert Hall, bringing an electrifying lineup of Ireland’s top comedic talent. Hosted by the hilarious Tom O’Mahony, the series promises to be an unforgettable experience, with each show featuring a different headliner who will leave audiences in stitches. Kevin McGahern – 15th October, 8pm: Star of RTÉ’s “Republic of Telly” and “Clear History,” Kevin McGahern is renowned for his sharp wit and deadpan delivery. His comedy tackles everything from Irish culture to modern life, all delivered with a dry sense of humour that’s impossible to resist.

Owen Colgan- 22nd October, 8pm: Known for his breakout role as Buzz McDonnell in the cult comedy series “Hardy Bucks,” Owen Colgan brings his unique brand of offbeat humour to the stage. With a reputation for being unpredictable, Colgan’s comedy is as wild and entertaining as the character that made him a household name.

Aideen McQueen – 29th October, 8pm: One of Ireland’s fastest rising comedy stars, Aideen McQueen is known for her high-energy performances and quick-fire punchlines. A regular on the comedy circuit, McQueen’s storytelling and sharp observational humour have made her a favourite with audiences across the country.

The series will be expertly hosted by Tom O’Mahony, a seasoned comedian and actor known for his boisterous personality and hilarious take on everyday life. O’Mahony’s quick wit and engaging stage presence will ensure each night is filled with laughter from start to finish.

Richard is a presenter, producer, songwriter and actor. He was named the Limerick Person of the Year (2011) and won an online award at the Metro Éireann Media and Multicultural Awards (2011) for promoting multi-culturalism online. Richard says that the ilovelimerick.com concept is very much a community driven project that aims to document life in Limerick.
