Nine Skillnets training networks based in the mid-west are running a free information session for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) entitled “Up Skilling the Mid West” in the Radisson Blu Hotel. SMEs in Limerick are encouraged to attend to find out what subsidised training options are available for their staff, and how they could save time and money by engaging with one of their local Skillnets networks.

The event will be opened by Minister of State for Employment and Small Business Pat Breen T.D. Other speakers include Paul Healy, CEO Skillnets, Connor Flanagan, CEO, Atlantic Aviation Group and Michael Sheehy, Owner, Alert Liability Management. Attendees will be able to participate in taster sessions by industry professions including Peter Nolan from Franklin Covey, Dr Ardawan Lalui on Innovation through Leadership and Malin Kelly on Management Wellbeing.

The Skillnets networks hosting the event are Aviation & Aerospace Skillnet, Business Excellence Skillnet, Irish MedTech Association Skillnet, Lean Water & Energy Skillnet, ulearning Skillnet, Limerick Chamber Skillnet, Shannon Chamber Skillnet, Innovation & Lean Sigma Skillnet and Aviation Finance Finuas Network.

Up Skilling The Mid West takes place on Monday, March 6, from  8:45 AM until 1:00 PM at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ennis Road.
