Limerick’s Vineta Bajaj appointed CFO of Holland & Barrett

Holland & Barrett has announced the appointment of Limerick woman Vineta Bajaj as the new group Chief Financial Officer

Limerick woman and University of Limerick graduate, Vineta Bajaj, has been announced as the new Group Chief Financial Officer, effective from September 15, 2025, for international health food retailer, Holland & Barrett. The announcement comes following the decision that current CFO, Nick Allen, is set to leave the business at the end of the financial year.

Vineta brings more than a decade of international finance leadership experience to the role, having most recently served as Group CFO at Rohik Group, a pan-European online grocery business operating in five countries. During her time with Rohik Group, she guided the group through what she describes as a “turbulent time for online grocery” while securing a $170 million capital raise, doubling revenues to €1.2 billion, and driving strategic M&A.

Announcing the new role on LinkedIn, Bajaj said, “I am thrilled to announce that on 15th September, I am joining Holland & Barrett as Group Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Holland & Barrett Board.  There is an ongoing transformation journey across this international business, and I anticipate that this fantastic brand will continue to grow in relevance and impact in the rapidly expanding health and wellness sector.”

Prior to that, she spent ten years at Ocado Group, the FTSE 100 online grocer and technology provider, where she played a key role in international expansion, major partnerships, and raising over £1.5 billion in capital.

Earlier this year, Vineta was included in the Top 100 Retail Technology Influencers List, which was compiled by Retail Technology Innovation Hub (RTIH) Magazine. Adding to the acknowledgement of her success, Vineta has been announced as part of the judging panel for the 2025 RTIH Innovation Awards and will be guest speaker at a Snappy Shopper Q-Commerce Delivered 2025 event this September.
