The Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme (VTOS) Limerick held it’s 2019 Graduation ceremony at the Kilmallock Road Campus on Thursday, October 24.

The ceremony was a great success for both the graduates and the Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board, with over two dozen students completing their course and receiving their qualifications.

Jayne Foley, Art, Craft and Design Course Director at VTOS, said, “We are so, so proud of all our students graduating from all the different courses. They are graduating with full leaving certs, with awards in art, craft and design, office administration, English for speakers of other languages and we are very, very proud of all of them and wish them the best of luck with their future endeavours”.

The centre also provides many other benefits, which include, books and equipment are supplied for, the assistance with the cost of childcare/creche, examination fees paid for, free parking on campus, state of the art facilities and meal and travel allowance, including a direct bus to the city centre.

Maurice O’Connor, a graduate who received his qualification at the ceremony, said, “What can I say, the staff are incredible here. The classmates were absolutely brilliant. The teachers are fantastic and only for ye, I wouldn’t be where I am right now. Anybody out there who is out of education for a long time, come to VTOS”.
