For the third year running, Limericks Sharon Mc Meel has been named as weddingsonline Wedding Planner of the Year. In addition Sharon won the top award of Overall Wedding Supplier of the Year at the 7th annual weddingsonline Awards.

The weddingsonline Awards 2016 winners were announced on Monday 15th February in the Grand Hotel Malahide, at a black tie ceremony.

I am privileged to be able to work in an exciting and vibrant industry in Ireland and it is fantastic to be recognised for all the hard work you do at a national level.  “said Sharon Mc Meel, who wore a stunning white dress by Irish designer Marion Murphy-Cooney. “2015 was a great year and I had the opportunity to work with some amazing couples helping them to truly enjoy their wedding day and I am really looking forward to what 2016 and beyond will bring.”

Beginning her wedding career in 2003, Sharon McMeel has now been involved in hundreds of weddings and winning the two weddingsonline awards is testament to her professionalism and attention to detail.

The country’s finest wedding businesses and services gathered at the prestigious event to celebrate the winners of Ireland’s most coveted annual wedding awards.

Over 35,000 couples voted for their favourite suppliers and venues in a range of categories, who were then judged by a panel of digital marketing professionals and wedding industry experts. Judges this year were Sara Kennedy, sales & marketing specialist and wedding blogger for IrishWeddingBlog.ie, Gareth Dunlop; CEO at Fathom, a user experience consultancy, Mark Richardson, Ireland’s leading sales and communication skills expert and founder of www.IrishMysteryShopping.com and Ken Fitzpatrick, CEO of the Digital Marketing Institute.
