Founder Gillian O’Gorman hopes the page will help people during these stressful times.

We need this now more than ever as I know there is a lot of fear, uncertainty and anxiety out there, this virtual wellness centre will allow people to access different supports online and for free.”

Gillian who is passionate about all thing’s wellness works with her clients weekly around managing their emotional wellbeing. As a Wellness Coach, she understands that being thrown into sudden and expected change can bring up a lot of anxiety for people, which is why last week she put out a call to her peers to join her in this unique and much-needed collaboration.

“Last week as our lives begin to change rapidly due to Covid -19, I put a call out to my peers and they were on board without hesitation. This team of virtual coaches, therapists and advocates are spread across the country; from Monaghan to Tipperary, Cork to Clare and Galway to Limerick.

We will be sharing information on food, exercise, yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, emotional freedom technique, essential oils, managing change, staying positive, crystal healing, releasing trapped emotions, with lots of engagement and support”

“We know you can’t come to us, so sit back and let us come to you. We invite you to join us in our journey to help you and your families to navigate through this time.

Wellness Lounge

The Wellness Lounge team is made up of wellness coaches, therapists and advocates hoping to help the public online.

Each day a different wellness advocate will share their strategies with you. There will be Q&A’s, live videos, special guest interviews, fun challenges & LOTS of support. We are in this together and together we are stronger,” added Gillian.

Current circumstances have prompted us all into thinking on our feet, every hour by the hour. Our usual routines are gone out the window, well for the time being anyway.

Gillian concludes, “What we once took for granted is now either impossible or takes a lot more planning and manoeuvring than before. We see this as an online community to support and educate best we can. We may be physically distanced from each other but we hope to keep people socially engaged to let them know they are not alone.”
