The investigations have not stopped and neither have the developments. Join Sam and Jennifer at the Lime Tree Theatre Limerick, to uncover and explore more about “West Cork”s mysterious murder.

Sophie Toscan du Plantier was married to busy French film mogul, Daniel Toscan du Plantier, and so decided to buy a holiday home in Ireland as a place of retreat.

In 1996, only two days before Christmas, Ms. Toscan du Plantiers body is found badly beaten and dead just metres from her Cork home.

Cork journalist Ian Bailey is arrested multiple times for the murder of Toscan du Plantier but is released on all occasions.

“West Cork is the new Serial. It may even be better.” – India Knight, The Sunday Times.

The live podcast will take place Sunday, October 13.
