The expansion of tech company WP Engine on Henry Street will create twenty new jobs, bringing the company’s Limerick headcount to 140.

The Texas-headquartered company has been operating in Limerick since 2016 when it first announced 100 new jobs in the city. For four years in a row, the company has been recognised as a ‘great place to work’ in Limerick.

The Irish leg of the company is moving from its offices on Cecil Street to a new state-of-the-art space located on Henry Street, which was previously a leisure centre.

The new office space is built around the needs of the WP Engine team, with multiple employee breakouts and lounge areas – including the provision of complimentary food and drinks. 

The growing team in Limerick is driving some of the most exciting tech innovation and development shaping of the future, specialising in WordPress technology and providing managed hosting as well as e-commerce and enterprise offerings.

WP Engine is responsible for digital experiences for websites and applications built on WordPress, they help major brands and small businesses access WordPress through them.
