Since John was a young boy Art has always been a passion it seemed a natural progression when he moved from the paintbrush to the camera and it was a transition that sat easily with him. The camera allowed him to see the world in a completely different way, He found myself looking at everything trying to pick out those quirky compositions or seeking out shafts of light that pleased the eye. He was always adamant that He was not going to use his camera simply to record things but rather use it to put some of him in his images, to use the light and colours and take the mundane and make it striking.
