Soap Making Workshop

Learn the art of cold process soap making on Saturday 24th February at 1pm in Shannon House, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick.
Are you trying to become more sustainable at home?
Would you like to reduce your plastic use?
Would you like to use organic, soothing ingredients on your skin?
Would you like to learn a new practical skill?
Then cold process artisan soap making could be for you!
During this two and a half hour workshop you will learn how to work safely, to make a batch of cold process soap from scratch. You will be introduced to beneficial oils, butters, essential oils and clays to make your own unique batch of soap (Please note this soap will need a month to cure before it’s ready for use).
Each participant will receive comprehensive notes, which will give you the confidence to replicate the process at home. The class starts with a demonstration, and then you will work with a partner to create your own unique batch of soap. Denise will be on hand to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
The class includes all your raw materials, equipment, comprehensive notes, tea/coffee/snacks and your batch of soap (approx 6 bars of soap).
This event is limited to age 15 and over.
