Members of the public are welcomed to attend the Mid West Job Shop and Career Advice Jobs Fair which takes place on Friday, September 30 from 10am to 3pm at the Limerick Strand Hotel.

This event will offer job seekers the opportunity to engage with companies who are actively recruiting. The Jobs Fair will also offer the opportunity to speak with experienced career advisors, discuss your CV and avail of One to one workshops and clinics to improve job prospects.

This event is proudly sponsored by a number of local, regional and national stakeholders, the Department of Social Protection, Limerick Chamber, The Mid West Regional Skills Forum, ULearning Skillnet, Limerick Chamber Skillnet, Business Excellence Skillnet and Innovation and Lean Sigma Skillnet. There will be a number of recruitment agencies and local educational institutes present. Also in attendance on the day will be Minister of State for Tourism & Sport Patrick O’Donovan.

Job Fairs are a brilliant way to increase an individual’s chances of successfully finding a job. Job seekers can engage with employers on a face-to-face basis, find out what jobs are available and pick up some great tips on who to contact.

Those attending the Mid West Job Shop and Career Advice Jobs Fair are urged to bring their curriculum vitae as the fair gives to opportunity to interact with companies actively recruiting. The list of companies currently booked to attend the event include Dell, Irish Hotels Federation, Virgin Media, Home Instead Senior Care, Northern Trust, Milford Care Centre among many others.
