As a group, these students need to raise funds to cover the cost of travel in order to make this trip. They also need to provide the charity with funding in order to make a significant social impact on the are they will be visiting
Gorta Self Help Africa’s goal is to “empower communities to shape their future”. Through raising these funds, the work will be able to continue at home for disabled children, help will be provided in local education and will contribute towards agricultural projects in the area, therefore, empowering local communities to self-sufficiency.
