CLUB Limerick National Hunt Race Day 2017 kicks off Saturday, July 22
CLUB Limerick are delighted to announce that our annual afternoon at the Races will take place at Limerick Race Course on Saturday afternoon, July 22, 2017, at 2 pm, followed by entertainment with Atomic Chicken.
The Greenmount Panoramic Restaurant will be where you can enjoy a 3-course dinner, full bar facilities, waiter service and tote betting. Liam Ahern from Limerick 95fm will be the MC for the Evening and he will be assisted by our Racing Tipster. There will be a Best Dress Lady Competition Sponsored by The Crescent Shopping Centre. Entry fee to include admission, race card and reserved table for 10 persons is €1,000 or €100 per person. All are welcome.
This annual event, Club Limerick National Hunt Race Day 2017, has been well supported by a number of Limerick GAA Clubs over the years and we are hugely grateful for that support. In 2016 we saw the very famous CLUB Limerick Novelty Race which went viral after Cappamore’s Brian Fanning fell just before the line. For 2017 CLUB Limerick has decided to re-run this event and are calling all clubs to take part, with a prize fund of €1,300. The race will be run over 400meters and will be the feature race on the card. Entries are limited to 30 runners so get registering!
The afternoon will also be a family fun day with an opportunity for the kids to come along and meet their hurling & football heroes, get their autographs and practice some drills & skills.
Call Siobhan Scanlon 061-335516 or email [email protected] to reserve a place and confirm your attendance.
