FORGE Design Factory with TUS and UL launch Design Futures CULTIVATOR programme in partnership with Limerick Local Enterprise Office

FORGE Design Factory, in collaboration with partners TUS, UL, and local authorities has announced the launch of the Design Futures CULTIVATOR programme in partnership with Limerick Local Enterprise Office.

This unique initiative aims to foster and support the growth of creative entrepreneurship in the Limerick region by offering a comprehensive incubation programme.

Design Futures CULTIVATOR is designed for designers and creative individuals in Limerick or those committed to establishing their business in the region. The programme’s primary focus is to aid early-stage creative entrepreneurs in developing both their products and business strategies.

Participants will have access to invaluable resources including a studio and desk space valued at €25,000, and the guidance from industry experts and mentors. As well as this, the six-month programme beginning in September offers the opportunity to avail of enterprise support worth €15,000.

As participants, they will have access to invaluable resources, including industry experts and mentors, along with a fully-equipped studio and desk space valued at €25,000. Additionally, the programme offers individual enterprise support worth €15,000, allowing participants to receive personalized guidance for their ventures.

Design Futures CULTIVATOR is seeking ambitious creative individuals or partners wishing to take their product or service to the next level, a spokesperson explained, “We will select up to 12 individuals or partners who exhibit high potential through portfolios. We will review every application and interview shortlisted candidates on a rolling basis, so apply early to give yourself the best possible chance to be accepted.”

To provide interested individuals with more insights into the programme’s structure and benefits, an information session is scheduled for Thursday, 27th July 2023, at 7 pm with registration available online.
